Literally "Drunk in Love"?
Millions of people watched the Grammy's last week and were somewhat shocked by Beyonce's introduction. Some said it was too racy and tastless for television others saying they have seen worse. In my opinion, I agree with both sides. Yes we have definately seen way crazier shows out there but it may have been a tad bit too much for young children. At least she was setting a sort of good example by doing that performance with her husband unlike Miley Cyrus and others. One thing is for sure, she got the audience and most viewers at home pumped up for the rest of the show. What are your thoughts on this performance? Do you believe this damaged her image at all or does she continue to be queen B?

Hip-Hop to me....
I did this Blog for all those Hip hop lovers and those wanting to know more about it. Those who see
Hip Hop beyond being just music or rhymes but instead those who classify it as
a way of life, culture, a fascinating love and a ground breaking
expression, bringing all its elements into one piece. Hip Hop to me brings
undeniable happiness and warmth to the heart knowing that it will always be
there, just like Common says in "I used to love H.E.R".
Some say it started
in the west, some say east, wherever Hip Hop may have originated, I'm very
grateful it did because it has turned into a lifestyle. I'm not exactly sure
what I'm aiming for at this moment in time, but who knows maybe some day ill be
working for JAY-Z, or Def Jam records, or perhaps my own record
label. I would release only the best MC's from around the world.
Blending a little underground music with a new flavor and a new
style but still reminiscing on what got us to where we are today. Although many
may believe Hip Hop is dead, i do not. There are so many artists out on the
streets that have not been recognized for their extraordinary talents. So
if you ever come across one, please give them the time of day and LISTEN
because they might just be sharing their own lives in one simple verse.
