Literally "Drunk in Love"?
Millions of people watched the Grammy's last week and were somewhat shocked by Beyonce's introduction. Some said it was too racy and tastless for television others saying they have seen worse. In my opinion, I agree with both sides. Yes we have definately seen way crazier shows out there but it may have been a tad bit too much for young children. At least she was setting a sort of good example by doing that performance with her husband unlike Miley Cyrus and others. One thing is for sure, she got the audience and most viewers at home pumped up for the rest of the show. What are your thoughts on this performance? Do you believe this damaged her image at all or does she continue to be queen B?

Hello Michelle,
ReplyDeleteFirst off I would like to say great blog as well as your other blogs they were very interesting. Now about the BeyoncĂ©’s performance I wouldn't agree with those saying it was racy and tasteless, I found the performance to be in sync with the song and made sense the way she was dressed and put it together. When it comes to the children I would have to agree it was a little intense and sexual. A lot young kids do watch the Grammys and also love BeyoncĂ© so she defiantly has to be careful what message she puts out there. Another thing I like that you mention is how she brought her husband out to perform because that is great message to send to these young girls in world now and days. Even thou her performance was sexual she is a married women and a mother on top of that does very well. This is her job at the end of the day and she makes a lot of money so I’m all for what she does. My opinion I don’t think this performance damaged her image at all.
